I love to watch the first shoots pop out of the ground when a seeds been sown, I still revisit the new growth day after day, the simplicity of nature so inspiring. Then to harvest those yummy fruits and make something to share with family and friends, what could be better in life?
Our two acres is a life’s dream, to grow our own produce, rear our own animals, then cook with these delicious, fresh ingredients, firstly for family and friends, and now, even better, every day for everyone and anyone!
I Started with a stall at Cardigan Producers market (Thursdays @ Pwllhai, 9-3pm) selling vegetarian food from around the world, Samosas, Spanakopitta, Felafel, Tortilla and tasty salad boxes full of fresh herbs and zingy flavours. I then moved to St Dogmaels Producers market, and having spread the word I now concentrate on catering.
Currently catering for the Do Lectures, Make it in Wales, FLEat at The Smallworld Theatre, private birthdays, lunches and Supperclubs. Also cheffing at Vic North Cafe in Newport and, when I get a moment organising Parti Yn Y Beudy. Find me @ourtwoacres on Instagram for my latest goings on.
Catering for any event, big or small, as long as you like my rustic, simple food. Full of local ingredients, if not from our smallholding then from the other fantastic local producers in West Wales.
